Over the years, I have been struggling to focus and believe I may have developed ADHD in my 20s. I made an appointment with this office to seek help for my health concerns.When I arrived and checked in at the front desk, I was greeted with a smile and politely informed to wait for the PA to see me.Once I met with the PA, I began to tell her about what all I have been experiencing. I have been unable to concentrate on tasks, more forgetful than usual, interrupting conversations, and constantly fidgeting.The PA then proceeded to tell me that ADHD cannot be developed in adulthood and that she would not irresponsibly prescribe a controlled substance to me out of fear I would become addicted. She did not believe I needed to be sent to a psychologist for additional testing, because she straight up told me she doesn't believe I have ADHD.I reiterated what I have been experiencing over the past decade but she was dismissive and unwilling to take me and my concerns seriously. I have enjoyed my dr, but unfortunately I am having to leave because the front desk in intolerable. They do not let people ask the simplist questions to a provider, are extremely rude and insist on being right even yelling over the phone. They will not discuss meds if you have any balance and are only interested to collect money or send you to collections asap
