Atlantic Gastroenterology Associates

My husband was a patient of Atlantic Gastroenterology in August 2020. We received notice from a collection agency in July 2021. This was the first time we had any inkling that there was a problem with the billing. Since receiving the notice I have called the doctors office on average of three times a week, without receiving a call back. I spoke to my insurance company and was assured that the fourth bill associated with my husband‘s procedure would be fully covered if they received a bill. It doesn’t seem like good business to send something to collection without reaching out to the parties involved. I realize there have been issues with the mail this past year, but, returning a phone call could have fixed the issue. I’m continuing to call at this point I don’t think I have any other option. I’m hoping someone reads this review from the doctors office and get in contact with me.
