Whiting Medical Associates

I made an appointment with Whiting medical associates for a basic blood test and physical in June of 2021 . When my blood test came back my A1C was 6.4 and I was told I had diabetes. I was also given a prescription for metformin . The only advice they gave me by phone was to not eat bread , they made no follow up appointments or offered me any advice on what to avoid eating or how to deal with my disease. So I went out and got a second opinion, I was immediately given a blood meter and an increase in the dosage of metformin and also was sent to a class on what are healthy foods to eat and not eat to control my diabetes . During the months that followed I made repeated attempts to get a copy of my medical records and blood tests from lighting medical associates . Over the next four months I made repeated requests in person and by phone to get a copy of my blood tests so I could present them to my new physician but to no avail they just made excuses . Very dissatisfied. Barry B

Love my DR. however the office staff deserve 0 stars. I've been waiting 5 days now for a call back about a medical issue. Billing dept. is pathetic. I've had the same Ins. since 2017, yet billing dept. says they have no Ins. on file ?????
