Mountainview Emergency Center (N. Main) care
On May 4, 2023, I brought my wife into the facility, after her fall at home, with her scalp and eye bleeding. After 10 minutes we were shown into a treatment room, and other than her vitals taken, we saw no-one for 3 HOURS, and that was with her head continuing to bleed. When I asked for the papers to sign to release her and take her elsewhere, some attention was paid. I was given gauze pads and told to hold them to her head to try and stop the bleeding. Finally, she was taken for a CAT scan and an attempt to bandage her head kept falling off. She was X-rayed due to the fact that she had just had surgery on her hand. After 4-1/2 hours a nurse came in to staple the gash in my wife's skull (done with no type of pain killer---I had to hold my wife still from the pain of stapling). After the nurse finished she asked my wife, finally, if she wanted something for pain which was administered. NOTE: at no time did we see a doctor; our primary removed the staples. We will NEVER use MEC
