I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the care provided by Focus Mental Health Solutions. Our recent experience with their leadership, administrative team, and adolescent clinical staff has been extremely troubling, and it is important to highlight these issues for the benefit of others considering their services.Firstly, I am concerned about the level of care provided by Brittany Perez, PMHNP-BC. During our visits, it was evident that she displayed a concerning lack of engagement and concern for my adolescent child's mental health. Conversations about my daughter’s sexuality and pronouns, which were irrelevant to the psychiatric care being sought, were conducted behind closed doors. Additionally, there were instructions to keep these discussions secret from my daughter’s parents, which left her feeling emotionally distressed and uncomfortable. The consultations felt rushed, and it appeared that the practice was not attentive to my child's needs or progress.

I really feel like this place does not know what they’re doing. I went there for help with my ADHD, which I’m struggling with pretty bad. They wanted to play neurologist, and they didn’t give me nothing or help me with anything. I don’t even know what they’re getting paid for. They didn’t even listen. All they focused on was an old brain injury and stroke so here I am in the same situation I’ve always been no help.
