Dr. Lahar is attentive, intelligent, and a great physician. Unfortunately, she has aligned with Valley Oaks Medical that has fragmented the healthcare experience. The people in the front office are nice but you have to go into the office to talk with them. Everything talks multiple phone calls to speak with someone that isn’t actually working in the office. Information is either not conveyed correctly or at all. Customer service is horrible. For example, labs that are ordered not being included when blood is drawn. Providing the wrong billing codes when submitting medical claims that result in denial and then not rebilling after multiple requests. Sending prescriptions to the incorrect pharmacy and then not correcting the issue after multiple phone calls. Telling me that it’ll take 24-48 hours to send prescriptions to a pharmacy. Leaving allergies off the medical record that were reported on new patient paperwork. Losing paperwork that was submitted and the list goes on.
