Scheduled a visit with Dr. Guttenplan in the winter of 2024. Dr. Guttenplan reviewed my extensive cardiac history of many years all while answering my many questions. He looked at a fresh EKG and explained my need for a pacemaker that isn’t on the market yet but will be by summer 2024. Visit ended with his partner the actual “surgeon doing the procedure office will be in touch in the coming months. Fast forward six months and not his office, the surgeon himself took the time to call me and after introducing himself I was ready for this procedure. Not proud but I have had multiple stents, open heart triple bypass, seven different angioplasty procedures and this procedure still amazes me. The old days of cracking your chest open for major open heart surgery are over. I have had lunches last longer than this procedure. This procedure this team, Dr Pugliese and the surgical team and Monti Moses take a bow. Anyone considering a pacemaker, run don’t walk to Dr. Guttenplan and staff.
