Holzer Center for Cancer Care

Our son went into to have an infection looked at. We chose Holzer because our it was in network for our insurance and the only place close to Athens. We received bills for over $700 in charges that were vague: new patient fees, steroid shots, lab fees, etc. When I called the billing department to try to get more details on these charges I was given no details by a very rude person. I asked for the results of these labs that were sent off and never received. We were charged new patient fees, lab exams that we don't know the results to and a shot. 4 months later my son is still dealing with the same infection and this visit to Holzer was a money grabbing visit taking advantage of young college students. When I told them I wanted to see the results of the lab before paying these fees, they sent off to collections and now my son gets to start his credit history with a negative mark. Thanks Holzer Health. What a sham of a business.
