Minimal compassion and poor care after miscarriage
Had a 9 week miscarriage on a Friday, called after I passed the visible fetus. No callback until Monday. Seen by NP who said, 'Well the good news is it's not ectopic.' Had to recount the traumatic experience 3 times because neither she nor the nurse listened to me. Minimal compassion offered and tried to schedule me for a medically unnecessary ultrasound. Offered magnesium for pain control because I can't take ibuprofen. Also ironic that they are a faith-based practice whose mission is 'To provide compassionate care to all women', but they don't accept uninsured or Medicaid patients. Never going back here.
