Dr. James Volk Inc

I had to get a new eye doctor due to an insurance change. Dr. Volk was not very personable and the exam was very rushed. I read 3 letters off a chart and had a picture taken of my eyes, THAT WAS IT. Didn't ask me any questions, didn't say hello, didn't ask me if I was having any issues. The exam was less than 5 minutes long, and for a new patient I find that VERY discouraging. My insurance is a discount plan for vision and the office workers basically treated me like I could only afford glasses on the discount rack. I said I wanted to see more options and that I was open to paying more for something I like. They still insisted I 'start at the discount rack and then maybe we'll go from there.' I will not be back, very disappointed.
