ProMedica Physicians Podiatry

I called the office to make an appointment for my mother who was seen at ProMedica urgent care and has a Rt ankle fracture. She is 94 years old, extremely hard of hearing, and had dementia. I am on her HIPPA although the person on the phone said I was not. I was told that I was not able to make an appointment because they are very strict about HIPPA. I explained that I didn’t want information as I was giving them the info. They phone number for my mother is my phone. All I wanted was to get an appointment. I work for a ProMedica physician office for many years and I know I could have been given an appointment. The office manager was also rude and did not even provide her name . Alas I called a different highly recommended podiatrist and had no trouble getting an appointment.
