Have had some serious external hemorrhoids for years. Finally got the courage to have my PCP to send me to a gastro to get them looked at. Got to the appointment with Dr Castillo and talked to his NP, who is very nice. Told her about my problems, she said she recommended a colonoscopy and a procedure to burn the hems. NEVER even saw the actual doctor… NEVER was I even looked at…. I was excited that could be the end to my torture. Showing up on the day of my procedure, the lady with the green hair at the front is literally the RUDEST person I’ve ever met. She rolled her eyes at me because I was not answering fast enough I guess. Also the one with the 5 inch long nails called her a “dumb idiot” for every patient to hear in the waiting room… like are you serious?long story short: the colonoscopy and procedure did NOTHING for me, as that procedure cannot be done on outside hems, which is what the doctor told me after the fact, the first time I met him, after the procedure. Ridiculous!!!
