East Wind Dental Care

When I moved to Oregon in September 2022, this dentist office was near my new place and had good reviews on other sites. Since then, the service has been great. I hadn't had a regular cleaning in almost a year, and Dr. Ostovar did a thorough inspection of my gums and enamel, more thorough than all four to five of my previous dentists. He was patient and eager to answer any questions I had. The staff also has these qualities. The reason I am not giving a five-star review: I think they are catching up their scheduling since the pandemic has ended. The times I've been there I've overheard the receptionists trying to rescheduled people. I asked them about it and they told me they were trying to balance the time with the limited number of hygienists they have. For me, the positives outweigh the negative, and I would recommend this office!

I hate writing a bad review, but this dental office is a real bummer. First off, the office itself is a bit tiny and drab. Not a crucial point, but I tell you - it sets you up perfectly for the subsequent dental experience. Look, the doc is competent and all. But you’ll get rescheduled a bunch. The hygienist are mostly just out of school and inexperienced. I thought the doc was hard to understand. The staff never really explained my treatment plan and how much I was responsible for was never made clear. Not a great experience. I will be looking for a different dentist for my next checkup and cleaning.
