Saint Vincent Family Medicine

I have been going to this office for approximately five years. I should have left long ago.As a rule, I don't want more medicine/treatment than needed, but I would like some actual help on occasion. This office doesn't give it, despite being friendly enough in person.For one thing, be aware that your doctor isn't your doctor here, because this isn't a family practice — it's directly associated with the hospital. Most of who you see are students/trainees. Thus, they don't know you, aren't experienced — and don't expect them to have viewed your chart before they walk in. You've got to explain your entire history EVERY time. It's obvious they didn't even talk to the nurse who did intake.Then, they do the MINIMUM possible. No matter how sick/injured/whatever, you'll be sent home with little help. MAYBE by the second or third visit, they'll prescribe physical therapy or medication. Don't know if more visits just get more insurance payouts for them or what.Last resident was rude!!!
