The doctors there were okay, but I had a bout with pancreatitis not long after being seen the first time. As I was recovering, the nurse practitioner Brian Melancon wanted me to have a colonoscopy and an ultrasound done of my uterus that would require me to drink a large amount of fluids, which I simply could not do at the time. After I told the referral person I could not do those tests at the current time because I was only able to eat or drink about a cup of food or liquid at one time I was suddenly dropped from the practice for non-compliance with the treatment plan. No warning, no discussion, nothing. I called to see if I could change an appointment time and was told I was no longer a patient there. That leaves me without a doctor during the midst of recovery for pancreatitis. Great job!!! Thank you.
