Provider & staff fine but phone staff very rude

My NP made a specialist referral. The phone staff called and left no message. I called back from the caller ID and the woman I spoke to raised her voice, talked over the top of me, was very rude, would not provide information, and slammed me on hold without saying she was doing that. Someone else picked up and they were more appropriate but they didn’t apologize until I told them I was a doctor myself. Patients should not be spoken to in this way by any staff. As such, I have no faith in this practice and would not recommend it.
