Dr Brightwell is a hard “No”
I regret seeing Dr. Brightwell for my ovarian cyst. She recommended a full hysterectomy, but I declined. She then insisted on removing my second ovary and fallopian tubes as a precaution, without fully explaining the ramifications of the surgery. I was given no choice and felt pressured into the procedure. Now, I'm experiencing emotional difficulties and loss of sex drive. I've since learned that ovarian removal leads to early death, brittle bones, dementia, and sexual dysfunction. I wish I had gotten a second opinion and done more research. My advice: don't let her remove organs unnecessarily, get a second opinion, and join online support groups before surgery.
