Women's Health Specialist

There are so many better places to go in Knoxville. They are unprofessional and unreliable. Their bed-side manner is extremely unacceptable and their lack of urgency with important matters is non-existant. I would definitely avoid.

I have gone to Tennova Womens Specialists for years and loved many of the providers and staff. I choose to take PTO and drive over an hour because of the positive experiences I've had in the past (now over 3 years ago). Unfortunately, it seems like things have changed since I was last here. I arrived to check in within the 15 minute appointment window, but no one was at the front desk to check me in. I stood at the front desk for over 5 minutes before the receptionist came back and very brusquely told me she didnt know if I would be seen. A nurse then came and told me the provider (Blair) had decided not to see me because I was checked in past the 15 minute window. I ensured the nurse and provider were aware that I arrived within the 15 minute window and had to wait for the receptionist to get back and check me in. They decided not to see me anyway. I find it ridiculous to penalize a patient for checking in 'late' when you have no one to check them in for extended periods of time.
