Capital Surgeons Group - North Austin

On November 20, 2024, I had my gallbladder removed, (Dr. Acheson), assured that the surgery would improve my condition. However, three months later, I am experiencing far worse pain than before. I had been living with pain for a year and a half prior, but nothing compares to this. Despite asking multiple times, there is no documentation or evidence of my condition—no photos. I was told the robotic system used for the surgery can’t transfer images, which seems hard to believe.Since the surgery, I’ve visited the ER several times due to severe pain. My GI doctor suggested I may have been mishandled during the procedure. After numerous tests, I was diagnosed with a cystic duct remnant. It’s been over 20 days since my doctor sent my results to the surgeons, and I have yet to hear back. This ongoing pain is unbearable, and I share the sentiment of those who regret having the procedure.
