I am a surgeon who went to school at the same health science center that Dr. Cooper’s son went to. I followed Dr. Cooper’ recommendations, read his books, and also worked at Kanakuk as a counselor and know that Dr. Cooper knows Joe White there. I went to the Cooper clinic when I was 40 years old thinking they were the very best at preventive care. Wow, was I wrong. They did not perform an echocardiogram on my heart and unfortunately, now that I am 50 years old and had a good friend who is a cardiologist who evaluated me found that I have a bicuspid heart valve with an aortic aneurysm. The Cooper clinic should have caught this and they did not. Do not go to this place. Find a good cardiologist and general practitioner instead to evaluate you. Not impressed with this place at all as they completely missed a major issue with my heart.
