Horrendous
I am very dissatisfied with the way your front desk & billing department have treated me in regards to the copay and them apparently having more knowledge of my policy than I do. They were very disrespectful and made me disclose my personal health information in a lobby FULL of patients. My rights were not respected. To add insult to injury, I was just berated via phone about a $63 outstanding balance which I received a bill for YESTERDAY, while in the hospital with my husband for the 3rd day. She never once asked if he was okay or if I was okay, or if she could do anything to assist, much less go ahead and obtain my payment over the phone to assist in a trying time of my life. This individual who I spoke to was disrespectful, spoke over me, and said 'They would not be continuing any care until I pay the balance.' Mind you this was less than 24 hours after receiving a bill. Reporting false diagnoses codes to my insurance is bad enough but to treat PAYING customers that way is shameful.
