ICA Cardiology (Houston)

I agree with the prior review. Office staff is horrible but Dr Michael Raizner is great but his office staff will ruin his reputation. Had my 82 year old dad come in for a visit that they canceled and didn’t inform us. Rescheduled for the wrong test. Didn’t realize it until someone called to schedule the test that he “missed”. Tecs in the back are pretty good but the front desk people makes you want to run for the hills. They will be the downfall for his practice.

This is by far the most unprofessional medical office that I have ever been to. Patients will stand at the window waiting to check in and although staff are in the check-in area, and have seen that patients are waiting, staff ignore the patients. This wasn't a one time occurence but happens every time you go in. Staff doing the testing were great, but more appropriate gowns/paper should be used to cover females having echos. I never received an estimated cost, but instead received a statement indicating that I owe a massive amount. I had to contact the office multiple times to request test results, and, inspite of multiple messages, I have yet to receive a response explaining why my out of pocket cost is exorbitant. There are far too many outstanding cardiologists in the Houston area to go to such an unprofessional, uncaring group. I will let my primary care doctor know about my experience and never return.
