Stay away!! I contacted and arranged a routine annual eye exam for our two children, diligently researching our preferred in-network providers. To my dismay, we were billed an additional $80 for extra tests and imaging performed without our consent or knowledge. When I inquired about the unexpected $100 total instead of the standard $10 copay per child, that's when I learned about the 'mandatory additional tests and imaging' THEY require. I asked why I wasn't told of this 'requirement' when I scheduled the appointment or upon arrival, and their response was, 'well we told you husband AFTER the exam'.... Just another instance of a healthcare provider trying to maximize their profits by administering as many tests as possible.
