Eye Associates of South Texas

I went to the office for an annual eye exam and a refraction for glasses. Dr. Hammodeh was the doctor I saw. I am seeing another ophthalmologist for glaucoma so I wanted just an annual exam. I was pressured to have a visual field exam and other exams as if they were to test my glaucoma and follow up with that. I explained I was there for an annual exam and glasses but after the Dr. looked at my eyes he proceeded to write a prescription increasing the drops I was using and adding two new drops that totaled $500/month. I was not asking him for glaucoma specialty but I felt pressured in the situation; but I refused the additional tests since I had just completed them with another doctor. They also never finished the refraction and I was told it was not completed and I would have to come back and pay an additional charge. I left the office completely frustrated and feeling like it was all about the money and had been strong armed. I would not recommend this office. I did like Nic
