Parkhurst NuVision

I hesitantly went for a Lasik consultation and a part of me wanted to hear that I was not a good candidate, but I was! I appreciated that the doctors took the time to answer my numerous questions to ease my anxiety and that I was not rushed to have the procedure. They wanted my eyes to be at their optimal health to ensure the speediest recovery possible. They explained what I should expect the day of, prior to and after. I am a parent that works full-time with a hectic schedule, so I appreciated the staff emailing me in advance my pre-op and post-op instructions days before the procedure. After my one-month post-op, my biggest regret is not having done the procedure sooner. Yes, you may need to use eye drops regularly for some time after, but the benefits far outweigh the minor inconveniences. The staff has been friendly, compassionate and caring. If I had to send my 90th grandmother for an eye surgery, I would refer them to Dr. Parkhurst, Dr. Wiechmann, Dr. Vanrachack or Dr. Nasser!

From the time you walk in the door until you are finished with each step of your procedures there is someone by your side giving you 100% commitment attention. I didn't feel pressured. I was asked what I wanted my outcome to be from the services that are offered. The surgical team is awesome from the lady's who check you in and the staff preparing for your procedure.

This was an awesome experience. The outcome was just as great. So very happy with Parkhurst Nuvision and their Doctors and staff were so very personable. It was an unbelievable experience.

Dr. Parkhurst performed my lasik but the whole process was so easy and comfortable with the team he has and I appreciate the respect and time everyone took with me.

When our son was 5 years old they told us he was going to have to wear glasses, we felt so sad for him. He is our only child and our mission is to give him the best life. We told him at that time, the day his eye was mature enough, we would get him Lasik surgery. When he turned 22 we began to do research and felt that Parkhurst was the best choice. He had a unique prescription; 20/400 vision. He was far sighted, near sighted an had astigmatism all in one eye. The other was perfect. After several evaluations, the surgery was approved. We want to thank Dr. Vanrachak who went to bat for our son. He spent a lot of time reviewing his case and consulting with the other doctors. Surgery was a success and it has completely changed and improved his life.

I was trying to get my cataract surgery sooner and I came across Parkhurst NuVision and they helped me get an early appointment. When I visited them for the first time it was really a pleasant surprise! Everyone was very cordial and they have the latest equipment and they took the best care of me and my surgery before and after the surgery up to one month. I feel so fortunate for being their patient.

My recent cataract removal and corrective lens replacement surgery couldn’t have gone any better. The team at Parkhurst is amazing! Awesome customer service and professionalism! I just had ICL surgery and it was the best decision! My only regret is that I did not do it sooner ! I’ve been wearing glasses and contacts since the 3rd grade and now no more! I had zero pain during the entire process. I remember getting robbed in college while I was sleeping in my apartment and I woke up to someone standing over my bed! I got up and chased him , however I could not see who he was ! From the moment I first walked into Parkhurst Nuvision, I was impressed. Each personable, professional, and caring staff member made me feel comfortable, whether greeting me at the front door or explaining what they were doing as I went through the pain-free surgery. They used state-of-the art equipment to discover things I didn't know about my eyes. The results have been wonderful--the day after my first surgery I could read without glasses! I trusted Parkhurst Nuvision for my LASIK procedure a month ago and it was one of the best decisions I have made in a while! From the second you walk in they make you feel welcomed and relaxed. They even bake fresh cookies in the lobby! I had to bring my children (9 and 1) with me to my appointments and they were so nice and understanding! Nat was especially kind to my children, she really is the best! Dr. Vanrachack is one of the kindest people I have met. During both visits I have had with him, he took the time to show my son how the eye looks under a light and how he uses the equipment to diagnose different illnesses by looking at the eyes. I would recommend Parkhurst to anyone who is nervous/unsure about LASIK bc they will make you feel at home!

I have a great experience with NuVision. I was repeatedly told I couldn’t have corrective whey surgery because of the condition of my eyes, but I received ICL and it’s AMAZING!! 12/10 would recommend

I have a history of dry eyes and autoimmune disease and didn’t think I had many options for correcting my vision. But Parkhurst Nuvision put me at ease and explained all the possibilities to improve my eyesight. Happy to have trusted them with my eyes.

Surgery on 12/2 & 12/16. Both times, office personnel, medical assts, anesthesiologists, doctors all super! No complaints. All questions I asked were answered . So pleased with EVERYTHING from initial visit through this first cataract/lens replacement surgery. They take care of everything for you. Itami artist & was experiencing fuzzy vision I attributed to needing a new Rx glasses. Needed that but needed cataract surgery more. So pleased have moved up date for 2nd eye!

Before my surgery, I could only read the first line of the eye chart. After the surgery I have 20/20 vision. The surgery was really fast and pretty much painless. The staff is very nice and caring.

This has been life changing experience. I had 20/80 vision last week and 1 day after surgery I have loss my glasses and have 20/20 vision. The doctors and staff are amazing. My husband was so impressed with the out come that he is setting up an appointment for himself to do the same. You get what you pay for!!!

Just went in for my 24 hour follow up after cataract/corrective surgery in my left eye. What a difference from just a day ago! No pain and just minor discomfort at first. After a good night’s sleep I felt so much better. When I removed my eye shield I could see better than I have in decades. Highly recommend this place!
