I first went to see Dr. Jeffrey Smith at the Southlake office of Texas Digestive Disease in 2011. He did upper and lower scopes over the years, and as recent as last year. The practice is now owned by a national conglomerate and brags about being the largest GI practice in the USA. Well, if that isn’t enough to make you run, then you deserve the care you won’t get at TDD.They seem great at wanting to give you 5 minutes time for an exam and ordering up procedures. It’s like a cattle call and generating revenue and profits for the physicians and stockholders is their #1 concern, in my opinion. I tried for over 10 years to get comprehensive treatment and it isn’t going to happen with Dr. Jeffrey Smith or at this corporation. Communications are non-existence, the Southlake office is dis-functional and led by Amy, Practice Manager, that is inept, rude and of no assistance. I am going to a new practice because for 23 days they won’t respond to referral for STAT procedure.
