Deceiving Insurance Advertising
The visit itself was fine. But, they have a list of insurances accepted and my insurance was listed on there. I also verified this with the receptionist when I called. Unfortunately, they are not 'in-network' and my insurance will not cover anything. When I spoke with Lone Peak Dermatology, they stated my insurance is not in-network but they have it listed as 'accepted'. This makes no sense. I was told I should have verified this with my insurance beforehand. I feel they were deceitful and lures more patients. I did not choose this provider for any reason other than the fact they had notated they 'accepted' my insurance.
