Demand copay days before visit

I was harassed by email and phone to pay my copay days prior to my Tele health appointment. I have absolutely no history of not paying they just have an office policy of collecting it days before their service or appointment. I told them I had no problem paying minutes before the Tele health which is customary with any other doctor. They demanded it days before and cancelled my appointment on me since I wouldn’t pay days before.
