Commonwealth Perinatal Services - Johnston Willis Drive

It was a very poor experience. My rating mainly pertains to the ultrasound technician. She had no respect or regard for my feelings and well being the morning to the ultrasound. I asked to go into the restroom just before the ultrasound and she immediately jumped to conclusions about me not emptying my bladder or recording in the room. That was not my first ultrasound so I was aware that a full bladder was needed and although I desperately wanted to hear and see my baby via recording, especially since the father is military and cannot be there for the ultrasounds, I was not recording. The ultrasound technician immediately became defensive and argumentative and ran to get the doctor. Additionally, I was not given the chance to hear my baby’s heartbeat during the ultrasound. It appeared any sound from the ultrasound had been turned off, which I assume is because the technician incorrectly assumed I was recording.
