Review for Mount Vernon Internal Medicine in Springfield VA. I started going here on a recommendation of another doctor to see Dr. Mark Sullivan. All I wanted was labs for a routine prescription refill. Dr Sullivan was great and I had a low pressure visit. Fast forward to today a year later. The online appointment system does not work and they do not answer the phones but make you get a call back. Made an appointment for my annual labs. I received a confirmation email. The next day I received another email to reconfirm my appt time. I put the day/time on 2 calendars. The day before my appt I got another email to confirm my Covid status. When I went to the office I was informed that I did not have an appointment at that time. I was told that someone had called and changed my appt. Not me! I have the confirmation emails to prove it. Then I was informed that Dr Sullivan no longer worked there. The receptionist was rude and stopped talking to me so I left. Do not go here.

Horrible customer service
I just waited on hold for 20 minutes, and then the system hung up on me. It is always difficult to make an appointment here. Dr. Sonya Bethel was great, but now she has retired. We have never seen a doctor, always just the nurse.

I would give them 0 stars if it was an option. I went in for an annual check up scheduled at 8:30 am. I was waiting in the lobby till 9:15. Then, I was asked to scheduled a virtual follow-up a week later. They sent me a check-in link with a higher copayment amount than they should have as per my insurance. I called my insurance, who called them and informed them in a conference call with me that they need to update the co-pay because it is incorrect. They agreed and said they will take care of it. They also told me that I had to check-in 30 minutes before my virtual appointment during this call, which was not communicated during the appointment scheduling call a few days earlier. I said I was not informed and not available 30 minutes before the appointment. They said I had to rescheduled for the next day if that is the case. They sent me a new link for the next-day appointment but the copay was still not updated. I called them again! They agreed to change it again and send me a new lin
