Brighter Smiles Family Dentistry and Orthodontics

My experience with Brighter Smile Dentistry has been deeply disappointing, primarily in terms of financial ethics. The practice overcharged me by hundreds of dollars, a discrepancy confirmed by my insurance provider. I caution others to diligently verify charges with their insurance before settling any bills. What’s more concerning is their refusal to respond to months of attempts by my insurance provider, Cigna. Despite providing evidence of double billing and false refund claims, the practice remains unresponsive. Even a complaint filed with the BBB has yielded no resolution because they refuse to respond. This lack of transparency and accountability raises serious concerns about their ethical practices in financial matters. In addition a formal complaint has been filed with VA office of Consumer Affairs to condu a thorough investigation into the financial descriptions at this practice. Please be cautious when dealing with this practice.

Cleaned teeth, nothing else, did not bill insurance for 20 months so sent bill for full uninsured charges almost 2 years after last visit. Having to demand staff put masks back on both visits in 2020 the last thing I was going to do was get more work done there. Who pays almost 800 for teeth cleaning anywhere? Complete insanity....
