First Colonial Family Practice & Urgent Care Center

IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS, I WOULD! Let me start by saying that Dr W Charlton has been our FAMILY doctor for decades whether we need him or not. He is a very good doctor that has seen generations of my family since my grandmother, Mercedes.So I called First Colonial Family Practice & Urgent Care this morning to see if Dr Charlton had any available appointment slots for me to come see him soon. The receptionist and later the manager told me that because I had not been seen by a First Colonial FAMILY Practice Doctor in over 3 years, that I was no longer considered an existing patient. I am NOW considered a NEW patient and First Colonial Family Practice IS NOT taking any NEW patients NOW. OMG, reallyreallyreally?!? Manager, Nicole told me that the policy has been in place as long as she has been there(8+yrs). She did offer to ask doctor if he would take me back but REALLY??? Well isn't that so sweet? I can really feel the love and concern for my good health and general well being now!?!
