I took my child in for an appointment the last spot of the day that is important, so keep note! This is a well-child check we went over the normal things and brought up allergies during spring an allergy test was ordered and we've finished the routine well child check a month later a bill comes in the mail for $242. I reached out to dispute these charges and initially was told this was a code for more than 20 minutes of speaking with the provider. I disputed this as the doctor was late on arrival, and at the end of the appointment, she was late leaving due to her starting late, and her tardiness throughout the day should not be my fault, nor debt. I was told I am not the guarantor of my child even though my job is where the health insurance is through and is in my name as the policyholder. The conversation ended with me being told no supervisor to escalate to and no offer of help other than the guarantor to call. My husband calls and gets the runaround and is told that he is the guaran
