Had my cataract surgery two years ago and, to date, every interaction feels like I'm a cog in a very efficient factory setup to optimize for revenue. I don't know if there good alternatives but wanted to share my experience: 1) Paid for corrective lenses, was told I would only need glasses for small print, but now I can't safely cut vegetables or read big print without them. 2) My cornea was scratched during surgery and all I got was a quick sorry. 3) Had to wait 2 hours for surgeon follow-up and was told 'that is what happens when you schedule appointment at end of day.' 4) Suffered severe eye dry, went for follow-up where they successfully got me to pay more for special treatment but no baseline taken due to lost xrays and zero follow-up to help me get expensive eye drops 5) Last week follow-up expressed repeatably my sensitivity to dilation, just before seeing Dr they insisted on more drops. Could not see clearly for 10 hours. If you use them, be very, very cautious and assertive!
