Dr. Althouse is a wonderful physician. He is a fantastic listener, who spends quality time with each patient and shows a genuine concern for each patient. Even though I have to get painful shots from him, I always look forward to a visit with him.

I feel very comfortable with Dr. Althaus. He explained everything well and discussed options for my knee issues. I opted for a knee replacement and am having surgery today. My husband had knee and shoulder surgery and had very positive outcomes.

Dr. Althaus was wonderful. He described the surgery and the potential complications especially with the prior issues with my hip. After surgery he and his team we fantastic to work with. They explained what to expect and what exercises to bring back the strength in my leg. I am amazed at how good my hip feels and how much more active I am.

I can't say enough about the care I received from Dr Altaus and his staff. Very caring, knowledgeable, professional. Recovery time was minimal, pain was minimal. Excellent outcome!!! If you need a hip replacement or any other kind of ortho surgery, this is your place to go. Words can not describe how great the experience was for me.

I had a total hip replacement and couldn't be more satisfied with the outcome. From my pre-surgury appointment through the surgery, overnight in the hospital and after surgery follow-up, Dr. Althaus and the entire staff of Tri-State Specialists were wonderful and so professional. So many of my friends who have had rotator surgery or knew someone who did told horror stories about pain through recovery and physical therapy. In my experience, I've had none of that. The pain was minimal and the physical therapy has been very stress-free and ahead of the game.
I would have to credit the skill of Dr. Althaus and his team for a very manageable procedure.
