First meeting with Dr. Black
I've been dealing with a ski accident on 1-18-24 which has morphed into further complications since which is the reality at 71. Today is 6-26-24 and tomorrow at 4:07 pm is a full 23 weeks.I came to Dr Black on the recommendation of a friend after expressing a lack of progress and worse with the first provider. In the space of an hour in the first meeting Monday, I finally have a satisfactory sense of what was going on, a better read on the all the notes and images that had to been accumulated with the original provider, and a prescription that is working great and validating his explanation. He had scheduled an MRI for next Monday and an appointment the following Tuesday. So after 22 weeks of pain, confusion and a lack of progress, I am quite positive about this Doctor after one visit.

Can't say enough good things about Dr. Black!
Dr. Black restores my faith in the medical profession! He is personable, professional, and genuinely kind. He went through all of my tests with me and offered clear explanations of the results. He helped me find a path forward for dealing with my leg and back problems. His staff is outstanding too. Highly recommend!

I couldn't recommend seeing Dr. Black and his team more! After a serious cartilage lesion in my knee, Dr. Black recommended an allograft transplant surgery for me in February 2019.  If I had listened to a previous ortho specialist, I would have ended up needing a total knee replacement. So glad I got a second opinion here! It's been a long recovery, but throughout my whole experience I've been blown away by the thoroughness and genuine concern for my recovery by Dr. Black and his amazing team. Almost 6 months later, I'd say I'm 90% recovered and doing all the things a 24 year old in Colorado should be doing. Dr. Black is very knowledgeable and genuinely the best doctor I have ever been too.
