Dr. Aaron Epstein, MD

My mother visited Dr.Epstein for a consultation regarding her breast cancer surgery. She waited 55 minutes past her appointment, and when he arrived, he was rude and unprofessional. She expressed her uncertainty and had questions about the procedure, but he seemed annoyed. When she asked how he would remove the cancer, he smirked and said, 'If I get into all that, we will be here all night.' Despite her insistence on having her questions answered, he harshly replied, 'We will not be here all night, and if you don't like it, I can refer you to Charleston.' As he explained some aspects of the procedure, my mother was in tears. She told him he had hurt her feelings and criticized his terrible bedside manner. His response was simply, 'Okay. I can refer you to Charleston.' His callousness was astounding. For my mother, facing breast cancer for the first time is frightening, and she deserves kindness and answers about her surgery.

Dr. Epstein repaired a previous failed hernia surgery. There is no better surgeon in the area. He was extremely competent and knowledgeable. I recovered in one fourth the time of the previous surgery. He patiently explained everything before hand thoroughly. Can't recommend highly enough.

Love Dr. Epstein and his staff. They are all so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I know of no other physican that I trust more than Dr. Epstein.

He's not is an idiot who will screw you up in surgery and then never be able to explain why your having trouble after his work. Completely mess me up.

Dr. Aaron Epstein, his office staff and surgical staff are a blessing to the medical field. Dr. Epstein is a wonderful and amazing surgeon: he explains everything in detail, very easy to communicate with, most caring and very thoughtful. He made me feel like I was his only patient. He explained my procedure, cancer surgery, thoroughly before surgery to the stitches removal. I had not one question, just awesome praise and great appreciation. Thank you Dr. Epstein!

Dr. Epstein recently performed a minor surgical procedure for me and I was very pleased with his manner, expertise and professionalism. During consultation with Dr. Epstein, I expressed my concerns regarding this surgical procedure and he took my comments and concerns very seriously, explained everything in detail, and, the end result following the surgery could not have been better. Because Dr. Epstein listened to me, my fear of a particular side affect never materialized, all due to the skill and action taken by Dr. Epstein. I would most certainly have Dr. Epstein again as a surgical specialist based on the outcome of my most recent procedure. And, of course, based as this end result, I highly recommend him.

Dr. Epstein, his staff and the surgical staff at Conway Medical Center cared for me over a period of eight months this year. Dr. Epstein is an amazing physician: caring, thoughtful, easy to talk with. He takes time with each patient, explains thoroughly the diagnosis, subsequent procedure and prognosis. He's incredibly upbeat .. serious when needed but has a delightfully wicked sense of humor as well. Found no one in the medical community who does not think very highly of this man! Recommend :-)

Weston and I would like to thank Doctor Epstein and his team staff for the great job they did while Weston Dix was in the hospital under their care and he was taken good care of while there. Dr. Aaron Epstein accomplished an amazing surgery on Weston and we were very pleased with his work that he did.
