Excellent Surgeon
Dr. Guyer and his nurse, Rachel, are wonderful. Dr. Guyer is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in the foot-ankle. I had major reconstructive foot surgery with no complications. The post-operative care I received from both Dr. Guyer and Rachel was second to none. Highly recommend Dr. Guyer.

Dr Aaron J Guyer, MD
I had long put off surgical intervention to fix an increasingly painful and disruptive bunion. I only decided I must take action when I realized I could no longer feel my index toe. Although this kind of surgery isn’t unusual, it is quite delicate the results determining the long term functionality of my foot which I need in top form and to last me for the rest of my life. This seemed Most Especially important looking at life from my age of 61. After some due diligence, I found a specialist surgeon at TOC: Dr Aaron Guyer, MD. And He is a Master. My surgery was in Feb 2024 and I as I write this today, May 28, 2024 I must confess I didn’t expect to reach this post surgical recovery point until February of NEXT year. And the incisions? They are barely noticeable. I must check if Doctor G did a plastics internship on his path to becoming the “GOAT” of ankle and foot surgery. If you are considering foot or ankle surgery, I highly recommend Dr Guyer

Dr. Guyer fixed my ankle broken long ago.
I had had consults with other orthopedic surgeons and no one was willing to attempt to fix my previously broken ankle. One surgeon even said that it would be more trouble to try and fix it than it was worth. Dr. Guyer spent a good amount of time asking me questions and studying X-rays and other information. He emphasized to me more than once that the procedure would not be a small thing, but he was certain that he could improve my situation. Healing was a definite process, but he was right. During each visit I was given the opportunity to ask questions and voice any concerns. I would recommend others check him out.

Stress free visit
This was my 4th time at TOC, but my first appointment with Dr. Guyer. I was taken care of well at each visit by all staff. Dr. Guyer took time to listen, review my info, explain things carefully, and was patient with my questions. I left feeling confident that I understood my situation and that’s a really good feeling (but isn’t always the case). Dr. Guyer is extremely knowledgeable and is a calm, clear communicator. So glad I found TOC.

Explains what he’s doing
My second visit to Dr Guyer. I need to wear an ankle brace because of bone deterioration. My old brace was worn out and he recommended a brace with increased support. The group to do the brace stayed after hours to measure for new boot so we wouldn’t have to make a two hour trip to come back. I’ll have to wait a few weeks for them to make the boot. The office is extremely busy but they are trying to help as many as they can.

Arrogant
Had surgery and didn’t see him again for 6 months. My first appointment waited over 2 hours. Today had an 8:15 and waited over an hour. I have several concerns and he refused to listen to anything I had to say. I’m worse 6 months post op than I was before surgery. Wish I’d never let him touch me!!

Good teamwork!
Going to the doctor can be stressful. It's not uncommon to see several members of the doc's team, repeating your information two or three times before you even see the doc. That doesn't happen at TOC. They're organized, efficient and most of all kind. Dr. Guyer's team announced in the waiting area that he was running an hour behind and offered solutions (and snacks and water). When I did see Dr. Guyer, there was no rushing to get to the next case. He took all the time needed to explain my situation and he offered feedback and a few options. You know they have your best interest at heart when the solutions start with non surgical ways and only offer surgery as a last resort. His team was as kind and patient as he was. TOC ROCKS!

Unorganized and inconsiderate
I was scheduled for an appointment and sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes. When I went back to the front desk person, she told me I was third in line. I told her it was inconsiderate and asked why they couldn’t just schedule me to come in later in the day. She just said “I’m sorry” with no regard for my time. I am extremely disappointed in the service I receive at TOC. I am still currently sitting in the waiting room and no one came to update me on my wait time or anything. I will wait over an hour only for Dr. Gutter to see me for 5 minutes and tell me to do some foot stretches. They simply collect the co-pay and are not truly concerned with the patient. I highly highly recommend you find another ortho doc.
