Cold and Uncaring
I went to see him for pain in my chest and he was very cold and uncaring. He said I needed to drink more water and it was most likely hormonal. I had a heart attack the following week due to A flutter. A week in the hospital and huge hospital bills. I could have had a stroke and been severely disabled because he did not take the time to listen.

Awesome doctor. I’m 61 and have died several times. I was rushed to Lexington hospital because my own doctor couldn’t take care of the problem. He is very good. Explains to the non medical patients and family what is going on and what he’d like to do to fix your problem. His office is 2.5 hours away from home but will travel that far to feel good about my care. Thank Dr Hessellson. Office staff is great too. Really listen to you.

Alot of times you get specialty Drs that are stuffy and hard to relate to. Well not the case with Dr Hesselson. Maybe it's because he's younger? Not sure. He's easy to relate to, he cares and he has the experience. 24yrs+. I went in bc of afib diagnosis and he got me out!! Knock on wood haven't gone back yet. Thanks Doc.

Dr Hesselson did cardiac ablation procedure on me January 2016. I highly recommend Dr Hesselson, he is smart intelligent physician. The ablation procedure worked! Thanks to Dr Hesselson & his staff!

They just don't come better than this! He's the most knowledgable Doctor I've ever been to. Takes a personal interest and won't rush you out. Knows and appreciates questions and concerns. Really loves what he does and you can tell. This is (literally) a world class physician who wrote the book on atrial fibrillation!

He treats you like a person, not just another patient. He's always answered all of my questions and never belittled me. I had no knowledge of the specifics of my condition before I went to him. He has always been very understanding and makes sure that both me and my family understand my current course of treatment.
