Installed Male Sling for SUI after prostatectomy
I selected Dr. Lentz after extensive research for installation of a male sling (AdVance XP). I had a different uro perform a robotic prostatectomy 13 yrs ago. I was left with moderate incontinence and total impotence. I have avg'd 1 heavy-duty pad per day (abt 100g urine per day) since surgery.I finally decided to do the surgery this year. I had to wait 4 months to see a PA, who recommended a cystoscopy first, but whatever it takes to get this done. It took another 3 months to wait for that and finally meet Dr. Lentz. In the course of our 20 minute meeting, he agreed I was a very good fit for a sling (over an AUS, which I did not want) and agreed that a cystoscopy wasn't necessary at this time. He'd do that during surgery anyway. Another 3 months later, I had the surgery. The surgery took 60-90 minutes. I was in pre-op and recovery longer than surgery. A little over 6 wks since and doing well. I use thin shields for now, but very little leakage as I await full recovery (2-3 mos).

An excellent doctor that provides outstanding care
Dr. Lentz is a very busy man and for good reason -- he is great at what he does. I suspect he is perhaps the best implant specialist in the southeast if not the country. By going online anyone can see that he is well-published and super knowledgeable. Kind and caring and an excellent surgeon, I could not ask for more. Thank you, Dr. Lentz for your excellent care and treatment.

10 out of 10
It’s been 6 months now since Dr Lentz performed a male sling procedure for me and I could not be happier with the results. I went to him for a second opinion. He answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. He turned out to be so caring and experienced that I decided that I wanted him to do the procedure. After having a radical prostatectomy 17 years ago and living with moderate incontinence all this time, I am so blessed to be cancer free and now, finally, completely dry. Duke Raleigh Hospital was also excellent with a patient and very caring staff. Thank you Dr Lentz!

Excellent explanations and straightforward answers to questions. I would highly recommend Dr Lentz and his staff for any procedure. It’s been two years now and everything went exactly as presented to me. The surgery went well and the nurses were very knowledgeable of the care they provided during post op. Exceptional results and would not hesitate to to repeat if necessary. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!

Be very careful when accepting a referral from your Doctor to this clinic. The Hub may assign you to PA instead of the DR wasting your time in showing up for your appointment
