Simply the best out there
I grew up seeing psychiatrists from a young age due to my anxiety disorder. Dr Peterson is by far the best doctor I’ve ever seen or known. I’ve been with him over ten years now, and continue virtual appts even though we moved to Dallas. I will never stop seeing dr Peterson. He’s so understanding and treats you as if you’re family and not just another patient/number. My anxiety has gotten worse recently and he has been there for me through the struggle, trying to figure out which medicines will work best to help me. My husband told me to find a doc out here in Dallas, but I refuse. I’m so thankful I found him years ago, because he has changed my life for the better. He is no longer with the previous practice that had a horrible front desk manager. Those are the only negative reviews I’ve seen on him were about the front desk people. I agree with them, she was aweful. He now has his own office and the front desk girls are simply amazing. Trust me, he’s the best out there.

I have been a patient of Dr. Peterson's for over 10 years now and highly recommend him. He has always taken the time to listen and make a fully educated and thorough assessment prior to making conclusions. He doesn't rely solely on medication, often advocating a combination including alternate coping mechanisms and meditation. After my medical insurance changed, I began seeing another doctor, but ended up returning to Dr. Peterson as fast as I could and don't even mind paying out of pocket.

Dr Peterson is wonderful!! We started seeing him for my child’s ADHD, but now we see him for so much more! He is patient, caring, and thorough. This means appointments run late, but he doesn’t handle patients like ERs do, he listens and covers everything. My child loves him and trusts him, and as do I. It is hard raising a well balanced child in an evolving world, we are thankful to have someone like Dr Peterson to help us.

Avoid this doctor. Front office customer service is horrible. The office manager should never speak with the outside world, there are no other words...she is evil. There is ZERO human touch or compassion from the front office. I know for fact Dr. Peterson does not know my family is in crisis, can only assume he'll never be told we asked to speak with him and HE wrote prescriptions wrong but the beast woman will fight with you like a petulant child. Nope, we are done. Forward my medical records.
