Not thorough and not caring. Would not recommend this doctor.

Excellent!

If you are sick, you will never get in to see him. Nurses do not call back. Only if you have an appointment 6 months in advance, you will be lucky enough to see him. Uncaring, unconcerned.

I saw Dr. Pfau for my first visit this week. He was great! So down to earth and nice, and very knowledgeable. He actually cared about answering my questions and concerns. Highly recommend!

Down to earth, really gets to know you, concerned about the patient and asks pertinent questions. He explains thoroughly, very knowledgeable in his field and really listens to what you have to say. He doesn't make you feel rushed and makes sure he addresses all your issues. Other doctors rush through the exam and pretend to hear you but are really just watching the time so you leave wondering what was accomplished.

It is difficult to find a medical professional with this much graciousness, kindness and humor. He may not agree with your medical decisions but he respects them. He has been my husband's & my primary care physician for over 7 years and we hope he never leaves this area because we value him and his medical care and advice tremendously.

Dr. Pfau has been both mine and my husband's primary care Physician for several years and we could both not be happier. His office is friendly and responsive to concerns. He is very busy and sometimes it is difficult to see him on short notice, however office staff will take your name for waitlist and they DO promptly respond back to schedule an earlier appointment. We could not be happier with his level of care and concern and feel he is as close to a community family doctor as one could get in our current medical environment. Highly recommend!

Personable and attentive. As this was an initial appointment I found his manner to put me well at ease while he asked questions to get to know my condition and feelings beyond what was already in my profile. We discussed various aspects of my condition and he suggested a plan that I found reasonable and potentially effective. I look forward to seeing him again.

Dr Pfau has been my primary physician since he started practicing here. I have recommended more than a handful of friends, neighbors and even several medical professionals to him . We have all been pleased with his professionalism. He has never rushed an office visit, listens attentively and is thorough, which is another reason I do not get upset if his appointments are running a little behind. Also, for the past couple of years he has had student from BCOM shadowing him, another indication that he is an excellent teaching physician.
