Long-term shoulder issues
Arrived early and was immediately tended to by staff. Dr. Schwartz was quickly available, informed me of issues related to pain and decreased mobility. He asked appropriate question and offered a few possible solutions. I am happy to say he had an immediate solution which has afforded me amazingly quick relief of a major part of pain. Thank you, Dr. Schwartz.

Thrilled!
I had knee surgery for a torn meniscus and am so thrilled to have had this done by Dr Schwartz. From my first visit on, I've felt heard and my options were clearly explained and discussed. I never feel rushed. I had some hesitations before the surgery and once again, Dr Schwartz called me to talk it out. The surgery went well and Dr Schwartz came by after the surgery to chat, something that doesn't happen often. He also sent me videos of the surgery and a video clip of the after surgery info that can be found on My Chart but it was cool to get it in a video! The entire team at the hospital were great!

No hurry for surgery.
I am having Shoulder pain in both shoulders. After looking at the X-rays he suggested getting an MRI on each one. After seeing the MRIs I could see what he was talking about and what was causing my pain. We are moving ahead for a surgery scheduled on my timeline. I would currently recommend him to anyone.

Big Disappointment
I would not recommend Dr. Schwartz as a person to see if you want real results. You might get a few sentences out of the man, and he will leave out full details of his findings. Don't except him to give you the whole picture on a computer or image neither. I will take his advise and get a second opinion since he isn't sure about his diagnoses.

Disappointed
My visit with Dr. Schwartz was less than productive and I left in tears due to his lack of understanding and very poor treatment plan. Prior treatment plan: I had a spinal fusion 2.5 years ago and 1.5 years ago I began having significance pain in my left hip. I dealt with pain for about a year and finally went to the doctor, which was initially being treated as bursitis and I began getting hip injections that were hit and miss with their effectiveness each time. I was also going to routine PT sessions without relief. I finally had an MRI in December 2023, showing two tears and I was scheduled for surgery through Kaiser. Prior to surgery, I switched jobs and lost my coverage through Kaiser, which landed me at the Oregon Clinic with my new insurance plan. After explaining the above to Dr. Schwartz, he stated he wasn’t convinced that my prior Dx was correct and suggested it may just be nerve pain, ordering a cortisone injection to the front of the hip and to maybe follow up with

Very skilled, very smart and very nice
Dr. Swartz is an excellent communicator who instantly made me feel at ease. I appreciate that he volunteers useful information instead of waiting for me to ask the right questions. Now I don't dread the upcoming necessary surgery because I've feel sure I have a top-notch surgeon. My husband and I were quite impressed with him. As an unexpected bonus, he has a good sense of humor. Also, his office staff is wonderful.
