Angioplasty procedure 10182024
Dr. AbdulBaki was the cardiologist for my procedure. I only saw the doctor for a couple of minutes prior to my surgery. He explained NOTHING!! The nurse had to tell me what to expect. I was place on the procedure table and prepped and then we waited for ever for the doctor to arrive. During the procedure I was awake; as in I felt everything he did. He talked to me during the procedure, telling me to turn my head to the left, so he absolutely knew I was awake. After returning to post-op, the doctor never came in to see how I was doing or explain~ what he had done. When I mentioned to the nurse that I had been awake and he had talked to me during the procedure her comment was “oh, he probably didn’t give you enough medicine.” Really?? I also told her I was having extreme back and chest pain. At no point did this doctor offer any information or advice. I had the severe pain until 10:00 that night. If you want a doctor that is concerned with your well-being, do not go to this man
