Dr. Abel Toledo, MD

Dr. Toledo is very arrogant. He will not listen to his patients. He diagnosed my mom the first 3 minutes and when she tried to understand his dignosis he dismissed her stating they do not speak the same language because he is a specilaist and she is not. He belittled and scolded her. She is 73 and left crying. He rushes you and from talking to other patiens at his waiting room (because the waiting time is always 1-2 hours to be seen) it seems loves prescribing new drugs (anidepressents) for any unrelated condition. Not to mention his staff is always short and plain rude (Priscilla and Michelle). They scheduled my mom twice with a waiting time of 3 months and cancel her apt. once she got to their office both times. They are always in such a bad mood so I am not sure why they chose a career where you deal with vulnerable people. I will be changing her Dr immediately and hope he learns to treat people with care and trains his staff much better. Very unprofesional.

Dr Toledo has been my primary care physician since I retired from the Navy. I cant think of a time when he has not been able to help me. A great Dr and wonderful person

I have seen the nurse practitioner’s at this office which are knowledgeable. I’m happy with my care there, they always fit me in the schedule ASAP! Everyone from the secretary to manager are helpful.

A friend recommended this office to me, I am thankful I decided to go to Dr.Toledo. My diabetes is now controlled. All 3 providers are great! office staff is helpful and knows my name as soon as I walk in the office.

I have nothing but Positives to say about this office especially with the Doctor practitioners Johanna Jacob is super attentive and Devoted to her Patients Front staff is Also Nice????

Dr Toledo’s office is very old school . I had to leave this job because the way the staff handled everything . Nobody has one duty everyone is trying to do everyone’s job . Also the urinalysis cups have no lids so patients walking around with open specimen. No printed patient labels on cups which to me is prone for mistakes . They don’t have a paper shredder for patient information . I wonder who’s doing the audits here Dr Toledo asked me on my first day if I can run him a test for a patient I said well I don’t know where machines are yet he said or you didn’t learn that in school , that was enough for me to leave . I’ve worked with many Drs nice ones that know respect . Dr Toledo I won’t put up with disrespect . Good luck with your office .

They have an always changing staff very .lack of experience and customer service skills. 2/18?

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Toledo and staff. Dr. Toledo was kind and very knowledgeable about my chronic condition and his staff made scheduling my next appointment very easy and painless.

I've been Dr. Toledo's patient for the past 7 yrs & I must say I am a thankful to him because my diabetes was way out of control and now my A1c is a 6.5, when I started seeing him it was an 11! he paid so much attention to my health and now I am feeling great. I have seen Mike Otte, PA who is great as well! The staff is helpful and understands my questions in regards to medications etc they always greet me with a smile and by my last name. They make me feel like they care about me and my health

Decent doctor. Always rushes me out the door; I feel pressured and don't get all my questions answered. Some friendly staff, and some inept & rude staff. Normal to call & get left on hold for 10 - 30 minutes.

Receptionist like to play games and blame the pharmacy for their incompetence, toledo needs to retire, his bad attitude far outshines anything positive about him
