Dr. Abhishek Mehra, MD

We found Dr. Mehra on MDLive at a very difficult time in my life. He is a wonderful psychiatrist in particular for individuals who are extremely wary and frustrated. He is patient and brilliant; realistic and goal-oriented. He just wants you to function and feel better but only in manners that the patient is comfortable with. He treats you like a person. He has a very kind, caring and trustworthy manner and quite honestly I don't know what we would have done without him. He is not offended when you give pushback and/or ask a zillion questions about his suggestions. I only stopped going to him when my insurance abruptly changed and no longer covers him, and I couldn't even figure out how to contact him to let her know what had happened. I see a new psychiatrist now who is lovely in a very different way (perhaps more appropriate for the season I'm in right now, which is infinitely better in so many ways) but his intelligent but caring services were exactly what I needed at the time.

Dr. Mehra is a great very attentive medical specialist. Though what makes him to stand out is that he is the out of the box thinker. He really try to use a complex treatment that includes not just prescribing a quick medicine but he sees a big picture. So some of his advices about the diet, lifestyle and overall self care are priceless and make a difference.
