Good experiences
Dr. Spence is the best. I’ve been seeing him for 18 months initially to try and figure out an alarmingly high PSA. Once cancer was ruled out the focus changed to treating fairly severe symptoms of an enlarged prostate. Treatment options were discussed, all of which had side effects I wanted to avoid, so I went to Penn and had two embolizations, but neither helped. I went back to Dr. Spence and he offered Aquablation, about to be offered at AtlantiCare for the first time on Nov. 11. 2024. I was his third patient and I’m now about 25 days out. Neither the procedure or recovery after the first few days has been difficult and after three weeks I started seeing noticeable improvement in the symptoms I was experiencing and I’m told the improvement will continue. Dr. Spence is brilliant, incisive, responsive, caring, expert in both traditional and robotic surgeries, and responds quickly to patient concerns.

Horrible scheduling experience
I made an appointment in August 2023 for the earliest appointment possible and the earliest I was able to come see the doctor they said was in January 2024. Yesterday the receptionist called to tell me they needed to reschedule and the earliest I could see the doctor was April 2024. Horrible office staff experience.

Worst urologist ever
I am writing this review to share my disappointing experience with Dr. Abraham Spence, a urologist whom I consulted for severe penile pain and throbbing sensations that have persisted for the last four months.Regrettably, Dr. Spence did not meet my expectations as a healthcare professional. Throughout my visits, he failed to provide a clear explanation of my physical condition or offer an accurate diagnosis. This left me in a state of confusion, anxiety, and frustration regarding my health and treatment plan.In addition to the lack of clarity and understanding, Dr. Spence exhibited a concerning lack of empathy and consideration for my discomfort and suffering. It is disheartening when a medical professional does not prioritize a patient's well-being and comfort during a challenging time.I believe it is important to share this experience to alert others about the level of care they may receive from Dr. Spence. Seeking medical attention is a vulnerable and crucial process.

Not Ever Available
My appointments keep getting cancelled by his practice. This has been going on for years. His office only has two MD's that are in the office once each week. In addition, he only meets with with new patients only on their first initial visit. This is Atlantic Cares new business model. It's like living in a 3rd world country.

This practice is the worst. Do yourself a favor and stay away. All about profit not patient care. Whoever manages this practice has no respect for patients. If a Dr. is not fully booked up with patients that day or not enough patients scheduled to bring in a tech for your testing you will get a call a few days before your visit that it needs to be re-scheduled. They will give the excuse, Dr had surgery, or tech was sick, etc. Profit first YOU second. Office staff stressed! Even Dr's are fleeing!
