Never again!!
I brought my daughter in for breathing issues. Due to a neurological condition, when in intense pain, her limbs tighten and cannot speak. Dr. Wong SHOULD have been aware of this if he read her record. Instead we were ignored, left in a chair in the hallway for 2 hrs, ridiculed, and not given pain medication for more than 4.5 hrs. I have never met a more condescending doctor who let his own inexperience with this condition cloud his judgement. We left the ER worse than coming in and will be following up. I would not recommend at all and plan on following up with the hospital. I did record some of his rude comments hoping other patients are not subjected to his “care”.

To be fair, our night at White Plains Hosp.was VERY understaffed and that influenced this review. My daughter has a neurological condition that was not understood by Dr. Wong. He waited more than 4 hrs to administer pain medication even though an intense pain of 10+ was repeatedly stated. He was very condescending and did not want to listen. My daughter has at least 5 specialists working on her care, but Dr. Wong thought he knew better. Even the nurses (who were wonderful!) we’re getting aggravated with his lack of attention to various patients. After 5 hrs, my daughter signed off that she wanted to leave and we did, WORSE off then when we came in. We usually receive great service at WP Hospital, but we will now go to other facilities. He placed my daughter’s life at risk and her visit with another medical facility today confirmed the issues with Dr. Wong. We will report this to the hospital as well. Just be sure if he is the ER doctor, that you bring an advocate, and ask to be transferred if needs are not met.
