Dr. Adam Bruckner, DO

My insurance referral me never could see him cause they don't take new patients one of them said but why are you writing me about making appointment if you don't take new patients.I said my insurance referral me here she said they must not updated there website and must not be knowledge but there not the only one cause there place wouldn't be writing me and on this website it says takes new patients

My Dad is 90 y/o - a patient of Dr, Bruckners for 5 years. My Dad's health has gotten much worse over the last 2 years. My dad had a fall on tennis court, June 2020, was hospitalized and in February 2021 I traveled to Aiken again to meet with Dr. B. My dad and I raised 5 problems (4 were new problems) that my dad was having. Peripheral neuropathy, dizziness/lack of balance, weakness in the legs, hip pain, and not surprisingly depression. Dr. Bruckner, said incorrectly that “nothing seemed to have changed” (from last appt). Factually incorrect, every condition was NEW except neuropathy. I was stunned, speechless. My dad was sent home with no new treatment or new medication, nothing. Depressing. Contacted Youmans' office - nurse prac. - 2/23/2021 - 1st appt. - received x-ray of hip, blood drawn for tests (Dr. B had never done blood tests in 5 years), helped make neurologist appt. + nurse pract to talk to MD about meds for peripheral neuropathy. Dr.B. tried only 2 meds - neither good.

Great dr. Takes time with each visit.

Looked at my latest blood test report. He said all is good. I looked at the same report and saw several items that were way into the high/red zone???

I have been seeing Dr. Bruckner for over 3yrs. In these yrs I have ALWAYS had excellent service. He is compassionate & takes the time to listen & answer all questions. His staff is very friendly & I feel very comfortable with all my health care needs being met by Dr. Bruckner & his staff. Wait time is always very quick. I would recommend this Doctor to anyone looking for a primary care physician. Alisha Collins Beech Island SC

I would certainly not recommend this doctor to anyone. He accepts no urgent appointments but instead refers you to Candace Waters nurse practitioner in Graniteville. This morning I called for an appointment and or better medicine (as I had seen Nurse Waters) while managing a 99-102 degree temperature for several days. I just called again, at 3:30 and was told by the answering service they were closed for the day. No one ever returned my call. This doctor does not deserve the title.

Dr. Bruckner is a very compassionate and caring physician. He listens to you and is very understanding. Although I have moved to another state he will always remain my #1 doctor. He diagnosed my husband's disease when no one else would. I would highly recommend him. He also has a very wonderful staff.

Dr. Bruckner is a good listener and his staff efficiently carries out referrals and tests. I like his conservative approach to prescribing.

Had an appointment with this doctor today and he was very very good. Nothing was rushed, he listened and was extremely professional. I would recommend Dr Bruckner very strongly.

We have had 3 times in the last month where 2 had the flu and one was in the hospital for a week with pneumonia. The hospital discharged him to follow up with dr Bruckner in 5 to 7 days. Upon calling they would not work him in and his appointment was12 days after he came home. If we are gonna have a family doctor we need him when we are sick as well. It's not working out that way with dr Bruckner anymore.
