Wonderful Doctor
I found Dr. Cassis to be thoughtful, thorough and kind. He listen and provided wonderful care. I was referred to the balance center in Scottsdale for testing and found the care at both Dr. office and at the balance center excellent. Staff were professional, supportive and caring. My hat off to a great team.

Dismissive and uncaring
I have never felt so small, insignificant and dismissed by a doctor until I saw Dr. Cassis. I went as a referral from my neurologist as well as from someone who had a great experience with him. My appointment consisted of 7 minutes of asking what my symptoms were, followed by a hearing test that confirmed my previous hearing test showing loss in one ear. His course of action for my hearing loss, which he claimed, was due to headaches, was a new diet and supplements which he referred me to a blog. No print outs, nothing on the conditions he said I had, just follow a blog and come back in 6 weeks. When I expressed that the hearing loss is affecting my job and I need help, he stated that I was just foggy brained from the headaches. Follow a new diet and go to bed at the same time. He didn't even bother to ask what my current lifestyle or diet was, he just assumed. He did show some concern when I started crying, so he walked with me to the scheduling desk.

not happy with my appointment
I have neuropathy and haven experiencing muffled hearing and wanted to get an opinion on how to deal with this. I had already done hearing test before and i knew they had turned out fine and hence i wanted to see a neuro specialist to understand beyond the simple hearing test. Here i was made to wait for an hour and then they did the simple hearing test and when dr cassis came to see me, he seemed very uninterested in my problem and didn't ask detailed questions to understand my concerns. he just said my hearing test was fine and didnt have any issues there (which i already knew). being a neuro specialist he didnt even think or address if the issue was in the nerves. he just said my muffled hearing is probably side effect of my medicine and sent me home. really disappointed ... it seemed like he was rushing to get done with me and was not really bothered about helping me. definitely do not recommend him to anyone. if i had to get a simple hearing test done i wouldn't go here.

Successful Surgery - High Recommended
This is a review on behalf of a family member. Dr. Cassis removed an acoustic neuroma earlier this year and the surgery went very well. He is one of the best doctors in his field and we are so glad we made the decision to travel to see him. His care and compassion goes above and beyond what we ever expected. The same can be said of his office staff and hospital team.

Great doc
Great experience with Dr. Cassis. Very attentive and broke down in great straight forward detail what needed to take place. After treatment he was attentive with any questions / concerns I had with recovery. Afterwards he even helped me talk through an ear issue my son was having. 100% recommend.

Awful Surgeon
Dr. Cassis told me the hole in my ear drum was way too big to heal on its own and surgery was critical. I was miserable but he didn’t schedule the surgery for 3 months out. He never looked at my ear again - not once - and after the surgery he went into the waiting room and sheepishly told my husband the hole had healed on its own. Had he looked at my ear at any point before the surgery he would have seen it had healed. Now I am left with lots of medical bills for my “surgery.” When I tried to petition the bills he denied that the hole had healed on its own. He was condescending and hurried and I hated every minute with him. Avoid this doctor!

Hate Dr. Cassis – Jan 03, 2023
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Cassis?
This man was condescending throughout the appointment. He was tired and did not want to be there. I wasted a great deal of money and time seeing this “specialist.” I saw another specialist after this doctor who stated the information was incorrect. I felt like he was just trying to get me out of his office so he could go home. Very disappointed in this consultation.

Dr. Cassis has treated me with respect and listed to everything I had to say. He took great care of me during surgery and my recovery. My after care once I came home has also been excellent. I would recommend Dr. Cassis to anyone who need to see a ENT doctor.
